Rodolfo Llinas

Rodolfo Llinás Riascos, M.D., Ph.D. Is a doctor neurofisiólogo Colombian, born in Bogota in 1934. Currently (2007) remains as a professor of neuroscience obstentando chair Thomas and Suzanne Murphy at the University Medical Center of New York, is director of the Department of Physiology & Neuroscience at the medical school of New York University and went program Neurolab scientific working group of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He is known for his work on comparative physiology of the cerebellum and on the relationship between brain activity and consciousness.
